First-party vs third-party

• First-party cookies are set by comparefx.co itself. We use these for essential site features and our own analytics.
• Third-party cookies are set by domains other than comparefx.co — for example analytics providers, affiliate networks, or embedded video players. They are governed by the privacy policies of those third parties.

• Essential — required for the site to work (e.g. load balancing, security, remembering your cookie choice). Cannot be switched off.
• Analytics — help us understand how readers use the site so we can improve it. Set only with your consent.

4. Cookies this site uses

Two measurement tools on this site are deliberately not in the table above, because they store nothing on your device and set no identifier: our own page-view counter (/assets/track.js), which records that a page was viewed and nothing about who viewed it, and Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless by design. Both therefore run without consent. The list above may change as we add or remove tools; this page is updated when it does.
